At the heart of our consulting practice is a commitment to improving the quality of life, dining experiences, and operational excellence within long-term care and healthcare environments.

Founded by Travis Durham, a healthcare leader, educator, and consultant with more than a decade of experience in long-term care operations, food service management, leadership development, and post-secondary education, our consulting services are built on practical experience, regulatory expertise, and a passion for innovation. Travis currently serves as Director of Dietary Services and Information Technology at Grove Park Home in Barrie, Ontario, where he oversees clinical support services, technology initiatives, and strategic operational improvements.

Beginning his career as a cook and graduate of Georgian College’s Culinary Management program, Travis went on to earn his Certified Nutrition Manager (CNM) designation and has become a recognized advocate for progressive food and nutrition practices in healthcare. His work challenges traditional procurement models by promoting local sourcing, direct vendor partnerships, and a food-first philosophy that prioritizes fresh, nutritious ingredients while supporting local economies and improving resident outcomes.

In addition to his healthcare leadership role, Travis serves as the Program Coordinator of the Food and Nutrition Management program at Georgian College, where he is responsible for curriculum leadership, student mentorship, industry partnerships, and accreditation activities. He is also the developer of Georgian College’s Retirement and Assisted Living Management program, helping to prepare future leaders for Ontario’s rapidly evolving seniors’ housing and care sectors. Through his academic work, Travis is committed to bridging the gap between education and industry by ensuring graduates possess the practical skills, leadership competencies, and regulatory knowledge required to succeed in healthcare and senior living environments.

Throughout his career, Travis has contributed to sector-wide initiatives aimed at advancing long-term care in Ontario. He has supported industry peers through his involvement with the Ontario Seniors Nutrition & Advocacy Committee (OSNAC) and the Food and Nutrition Advisory Team (FNAT), helping organizations navigate significant legislative and operational changes. Today, he remains actively engaged with the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management and contributes as a subject matter expert to the redevelopment of leadership education programs through the AdvantAge Ontario Administrator Leadership Program.

Travis is currently pursuing a Master of Education through Athabasca University, further strengthening his expertise in leadership, innovation, organizational development, and adult learning.
